Customer Service Representative – London

We’re looking for a passionate Customer Service Representative to take ownership of customer success for our portfolio of clients.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Focus on retaining, growing and developing existing clients through effective communication throughout the shipping process.
  • Proactively use the CRM system to effectively track, monitor, report and plan client calls and follow ups.
  • Act as the key interface between the allocated customer and operations teams.
  • Engage clients in Unsworth’s digital solutions to create client lock in, confidently explaining the benefits and onboarding process.
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by your customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, ensuring we are consistently meeting or exceeding them.
  • Maintaining the revenue and gross profit of each account ensuring they remain profitable.
  • Lead efforts to identify and turn around ‘at risk’ accounts, proposing solutions for maintaining client loyalty.

Our ideal candidate:

    • A minimum of 2 years B2B customer service experience is essential
    • Experience in freight, logistics or supply chain is extremely beneficial
    • A passion for customer success!
    • A confident and articulate communicator both on the phone and in writing
    • A proactive approach with ability to take initiative

Logistics/ Shipping Admin Assistant- London

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Taking bookings and assisting with transport arrangements by sea, air and road
  • Producing and checking essential shipping documentation required by customers and suppliers including bills of ladings, invoices, export customs entries
  • Updating and maintaining accurate shipping information in our freight software
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and overseas agents
  • Dealing with customers enquiries relating to orders, shipments and deliveries
  • Assisting in preparing and following up quotations
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Undertaking various other administrative duties

Required experience, skills and qualities:
