How to clear my goods through customs
Your Customs Clearance Agents in the UK
Anything shipped to the UK must go through customs to ensure you pay the correct tax and duty (customs charges) on your goods. Also, depending on local legislation and regulations, the import of certain goods may be restricted access to the country.
As previously mentioned, you may be required to pay customs duty, VAT or Excise duty on goods imported from outside of the European Union before you can receive them.

Customs Clearance FAQs
What is Customs Clearance?
Customs clearance is necessary for all goods entering or leaving the EU. It is the process in which HM Customs & Excise account for any charges due for the shipment, ensure the products have all the required documentation and adhere to EU law.
How long does it take?
There is no precise answer to this – it could take anything from 10 minutes to several days! The time frame depends on what you intend to ship. Products that require additional documentation checks or physical examinations to clarify that your declarations are correct will take longer to clear.
What documentation will I need?
This is once again dependent on the cargo being shipped. Basic documentation required for customs is a certificate of origin, bill of lading, invoice from the supplier, packing list and preference certificates.
