Junior Business Development Manager
Are you a motivated, goal-driven sales professional ready to make an impact? Join Unsworth as a Junior BDM and help us introduce our cutting-edge Supply Chain Visibility platform, Pathway, to new clients! You’ll be a key player in growing our business by identifying leads, building relationships, and supporting our Business Development team to close deals.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and connect with potential clients using lead-generation tools, databases, and LinkedIn. Collaborate with our marketing team to drive successful lead-generation campaigns.
- Client Engagement and Qualification: Conduct outreach through phone, email, and LinkedIn to understand client needs and showcase Pathway’s unique benefits. Qualify prospects and arrange meetings for our Business Development Managers.
- Sales Support: Prepare compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations to support client meetings and assist with onboarding.
- Calendar and CRM Management: Organise BDM schedules and maintain accurate records of all communications and client details in HubSpot.
- Target Achievement: Strive to exceed monthly sales targets, actively contributing to the growth of our sales pipeline.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring excellent communication and follow-up to foster loyalty and trust.
What You Bring:
- Some experience in sales roles, ideally in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for achieving sales targets.
- Ability to stay positive and resilient in handling challenges.
- Excellent organisational skills and familiarity with CRM software and the MS Office Suite.
