WEBINAR: Ready for No-Deal Brexit
Brexit is probably the biggest challenge to face our clients in decades, which is why we have been posting news, transmitting regular Brexit updates and running our popular Brexit webinars, with the next transmission on Wednesday 9th October @ 1000am.
As UK and EU politicians fail to reach any agreement ahead of European Council meetings on the 17th and 18th October, businesses should prepare for a no-deal Brexit because as is stands, we are leaving on the 31st October 2019, despite the Benn Act.
No-Deal Custom processes have been announced that are designed specifically to keep Ro/Ro traffic flowing through the ports and easements will be available to importers, to mitigate cashflow impacts and simplify reporting, for those that have the necessary authorisations in place.
New declarations will be required for exporters, with fines to catch the unwary and there are other new challenges that will need to be overcome.
To help you understand and overcome these challenges, we’re running the third in our series of Brexit webinars on Wednesday 9th October at 10am, with Brexit advisor and registered EU expert, Robert Hardy.
Robert will outline the solutions that have been put in place for EU importers, explain how exports will operate in a No-Deal scenario and show you how to stress test your own Brexit readiness.
You will also have the opportunity to address questions to Robert and our other Brexit experts, who can provide guidance on a wide range of issues:
– What applications should I make?
– What paperwork is required?
– Will my imports be liable for taxes?
– Can I continue to trade on DDP?
If you are unable to attend the live webinar, you should still register to receive a free recording of the live event
